Bear encapsulates and elevates Celine Song's debut film so much. I found the movie visually stunning and the subject matter itself emotional, but the characters, through whom it was executed, felt stale. The music did so much heavy lifting in bringing emotion to scenes and paired beautifully with the cinematography. Though you need the context of the movie to enjoy the soundtrack, I walked away from Past Lives having its soundtrack on repeat. Give Celine Song's debut and Christopher Bear's score a watch and listen. Film 4/5 (My Ltrbx Review), Score 5/5
